BANCOORA BEACH LOOKOUT

Public BBQ

A lookout above Bancoora Beach on the Surf Coast, reached by a short, gentle walk over the dunes from the car park. The path is well marked and the steps up are solid and not steep, so it suits most ages. From the top the view opens right along the beach and the coastline, and it is worth timing for sunrise or sunset. The surf lifesaving patrol tower is close by, and council showers nearby are handy for rinsing off after a swim or a surf. Barwon Coast keeps the tracks, stairs and surrounds in excellent order.
